Lubna Ahmed

Lubna Ahmed received her Ph.D. degree in the Chemical Engineering Department in Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC) at Texas A&M University (TAMU) (2018). She is currently working for Intel Corporation. 

As a Process Engineer at Intel Corporation, her primary role involves the development of intellectual properties and leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architecture.

As a former employee of Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center ( MKOPSC ), she was involved in various industry and federal funded projects related to polymer nanotechnology, offshore oil and gas industry, human factor engineering, etc. Before starting her graduate studies, she served as a faculty member (2011-13) in the Chemical Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). With her previous experience as a lecturer and present exposure as a researcher, she is equipped to help young professionals interested in higher studies with their queries. She recognizes the problem faced by a student during and after the admission process in a foreign country as she has undergone the process herself. She is willing to help students cope up with the seemingly simple yet difficult to find answers to their questions.
