Can I use a calculator on the GRE test?
The computer-delivered GRE General Test includes an on-screen calculator for use in the Quantitative Reasoning section to reduce the emphasis on computation and to focus more attention on reasoning skills. The calculator has four functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and a square root.
For paper-delivered tests, calculators are provided at the test center for use during the test. You may not bring your own calculator.

When will my official scores of GRE be reported after testing?
If you take the computer-delivered GRE General Test, your official scores will be available in your ETS Account and sent to the institutions you designated approximately 10–15 days after your test date.
If you take the paper-delivered test, your official scores will be available in your ETS Account and sent to the institutions you designated within five weeks after your test date.

What is on the GRE subject test?
The GRE Subject Tests are administered in a paper-delivered format. Total testing time is 2 hours and 50 minutes. There are no separately timed sections.

When can I see my GRE scores online?
You can view your official GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test scores online in your My GRE Account about 10 to 15 days after your computer-delivered test date. If you take the paper-delivered test, your scores will be posted approximately six weeks after your test date. If you designated score recipients on or before test day, your official score reports will be sent directly to them around the same time as your scores are available online.

What is the standard format of the GRE test to take?
The General Test of GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is set to have five or six sections.
There will always be
- one Analytical Writing section composed of two 30-minute tasks (60 minutes)
- two 20-question Verbal Ability sections (30 minutes each)
- two 20-question Quantitative Ability sections (35 minutes each)
In addition, there may be
- an unidentified Experimental Section, which would be a third verbal or quantitative section
Occasionally, there may be
- an identified optional research section (but not if there is an Experimental Section)
Can I take GRE and utilize the score for business school?
Yes, One can use on the basis of the specific requirement. It has to be noted that more than 90% of business schools accept the GRE in place of the GMAT.
However, a statistics in 2015 showed that about a quarter of schools preferred the GMAT over the GRE.
So one needs to be sure enough about the preferences of any programs before choosing one test or the other.
How do I send my GRE score to the graduate schools?
At the end of the test, one can see the preliminary scores on the screen on the exam day. One will be able to select up to four schools to receive four free score reports. At the testing center, one can send all valid GRE scores together.
One can send additional score reports for $ 27 an institution beyond those four free reports as mentioned, by logging into the ETS account (the same account used to register for the test). If one appears more than one GRE test, one can select all the scores, the most recent scores, or the specific scores one wants to send.
Can I use calculator on the test?
One cannot bring own calculator to use on the GRE. Instead, the GRE testing application includes a fairly simple calculator for using on the Quantitative Reasoning section of the test which performs the basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and takes square roots.
What are GRE Subject Tests? Do I Need to Take Them?
GRE subject tests offered by ETS is the test taken on the advanced knowledge of a particular subject area. One will generally take a GRE subject test in addition to the regular GRE (& vice versa according to the requirements). GRE subject tests let one know one's expertise in a particular subject relevant to whatever program(s) one is applying to.
All of the subject tests are 5-choice multiple-choice tests (2 hours and 50 minutes) offered in a single.
